Perception and Image reality; The visual perception of the image and how it determines the reality of the image as an object; Thesis 2018 for the the degree bachelor of the University of Fine Arts and Design Gerrit Rietveld

The thesis explores the visual experience of an image; a topic which is becoming increasingly relevant considering culture today. Not only is the processing of digital images constantly developing, so is our perception of that new imagery. My thesis reflects upon such questions more deeply by bringing together newer theories of perception and philosophy, in order to gain a better understanding of how an image is perceived and reality determined within today’s society.
